WEGA Thermo Fusion was established in 2010 to support the mining, processing and civil engineering industries with specialised HDPE piping services and products. By focusing on the satisfaction of our clients, we have been able to maintain steady growth within the company since inception, navigating every circumstance and obstacle with excellence while expanding our staff complement to 49 employees.

Our impressive and sustained growth as a business is evident in the increasing value of our company since inception. Now owned by Siyabonga Ndwandwe (51% Shareholder) and Werner Lezar (33% Shareholder), we have ambitious plans to continue our growth and consolidate our position as the leading specialised HDPE piping supplier and service provider in the country.

As a means to ensure accelerated job creation and social development, we plan to launch more South African branches while maintaining our record of zero health & safety incidents at our sites.

WEGA supplies, installs and maintains HDPE pipes for clients in the mining, processing and construction sectors. We are able to leverage our infrastructure and skillset to conduct business successfully across South Africa.

Our plastic welding machines are imported from Germany (Widos and Rothenberger - leaders in innovative plastic welding technology for individual piping systems), with product sizes ranging between 50mm and 630mm to provide sufficient scope for meeting all client specifications with complete precision. We also offer seamless pipe-bending services, ranging from 90mm to 250mm.

We also supply a full product range of plastic welding rods, compression and electro-fusion fittings and industrial hoses. Our expertise extends to thermoplastic jointing and welding solutions.

All WEGA welders are highly trained and accredited by the Sector Education & Training Authority (MERSETA). We have full public and third-party liability cover for all projects up to R10 million.
